Arsenal consider sensational bid for Chelsea star Jorginho
Arsenal are considering a sensational bid for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho as their pursuit of Brighton’s Moises Caicedo stalls.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is keen to improve on his midfield options ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline on Tuesday.
The Premier League table toppers have reportedly identified the 31-year-old Brazilian as an alternative to Brighton star Caicedo.
Their second bid for the Ecuadorian, worth £70m plus £5m add ons, is believed to have been rejected on Monday.
According to the Athletic, Jorginho is attracting plenty of attention with the Blues open to offers as the player’s contract comes to an end in July.
