Ben White withdraws from England's World Cup squad
Ben White has pulled out of England's World Cup squad and has left Qatar for 'personal reasons'.
In a statement, England said the player "left England’s training base in Al Wakrah and returned home for personal reasons.
"The Arsenal defender is not expected to return to the squad for the remainder of the tournament."
The 25-year-old was included in Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad for the finals but was an unused substitute in England's opening two matches - their 6-2 win over Iran and 0-0 draw with USA - and was not in the squad that beat Wales on Tuesday through illness.
"We ask that the player's privacy is respected at this moment in time," the statement added.
Arsenal tweeted "we're all with you, Ben".
