Tottenham Hotspur are yet to lose a game this season in any competition, and will face their latest test when they travel to Sporting Lisbon in Group D of the Champions League.

Spurs, like the other British sides in the competition, had no domestic games over the weekend following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Antonio Conte's team are yet to lose this season, while their Portuguese opponents have only been defeated twice in Liga Portugal and sit top of Group D in the Champions League.

Spurs won their opening European match 2-1 against Marseille, but Sporting's 3-0 thrashing of Frankfurt puts them top of the group.

Despite their strong form, winger Son Heung-min (30) has failed to score in any of his appearances this campaign.

"I'm OK. If I'm honest, if I wasn't getting chances in the game I would be worried but I'm still getting chances," Son said.

"In some games, there have been unlucky moments. In some games, it has been a bad finish. This is going to make me stronger.

"I think if I score one the confidence will be back and I hope I can go on and score more goals."

There will be a reunion for former Spurs winger Marcus Edwards (23), who scored and assisted last week against Frankfurt and has impressed since moving to Portugal.

Likewise, Tottenham's Eric Dier (28) will return to the club he spent much of his youth career at.

Sporting manager Ruben Amorim insisted that even though his side got off to the best possible start, their opponents on Tuesday are the clear favourites to win the group.

"Tottenham are the clear favourites in the group. They are a team that have one of the best attacks in the world with a winning coach in Italy and England and world-class players.

"Of course, the previous game increases our confidence," continued Amorim, "but the pressure will, in any case, be on Tottenham who will be favourites."

Frankfurt take on Marseille in the other match in Group D.
