Chelsea have reignited their interest in signing Anthony Gordon and are also considering a move for his Everton teammate Amadou Onana.

The Blues targeted England U21 international Gordon over the summer but were reluctant to pay upwards of £60 million to secure his services.

But according to the Telegraph, Chelsea are not giving up on their pursuit of the winger, who has struggled in a relegation-threatened Everton team.

The Toffees sacked Frank Lampard on Monday with the club marooned in 19th in the Premier League table with goal difference keeping them above bottom-side Southampton.

With Chelsea looking to take advantage of Everton’s struggles, Graham Potter’s side are also keen on exploring a deal for midfielder Onana, although it is claimed the Merseyside club are reluctant to lose him.

Onana, a Belgium international, has shown flurries of his talent since joining Everton in a £33 million deal from Lille over the summer.
