Rain threatens England bid to square Australia ODI series
Persistent rain delayed England's attempt to level their one-day international series against Australia at Lord's on Friday.
The toss for the fourth ODI should have taken place at 12:00 local time but, with rain falling steadily, the covers remained on.
England lost the first two matches of the series at Trent Bridge and Headingley but won a rain-shortened clash against the world champions at Chester-le-Street to stay alive in the five-match series.
A washout at Lord's would mean England could no longer win the series, with the final match taking place in Bristol on Sunday.
