Whitlock not hopeful ahead of next match against Anderson
The Wizard is making his 21st appearance at a World Championship and is not in the best of form. Speaking to Darts Online, he admitted he was on a poor run:
"I got lucky, he missed doubles so it came down to a last leg," reflected Whitlock. "I think I won because of my experience."
Whitlock changed equipment a lot recently. In his own words, he is in even worse form than Peter Wright.
"I change darts, barrels, flights. It's worse than with Peter Wright, bless him. I can't get used to anything."
On Saturday night, Whitlock will play two-time world champion Gary Anderson in the final match of the evening session.
About his chances, the Australian was not overly positive: "I think he'll kick my arse," Whitlock laughed.
