Michael Smith has defeated Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace to claim the title of world darts champion for the first time in his career.
The Englishman hit a nine-darter in the second set, which has now been widely dubbed 'the best leg of all time'.
Van Gerwen threw eight perfect arrows, which was then immediately one-upped by Smith.
Smith's 7-4 triumph, which left the 32-year-old in tears, also means he now takes first place in the world rankings.
The Englishman lost to Van Gerwen in 2019's final, his first of two runner-up finishes - the other coming just 12 months ago to Peter Wright.
