West Ham grab win at Anderlecht in Europa Conference League
Anderlecht put up a fair fight against West Ham, with the sides pretty much splitting posession of the ball throughout the full 90 minutes.
The first period of 45' was frustrating for both sets of players, as any chances on goal carved out failed to find the back of either net.
It wouldn't be until the 79th minute before the first and only goal of the game. Gianluca Scamacca struck for the Hammers just ten minutes after coming off the bench, combining well with fellow sub Lucas Paqueta.
West Ham will feel they fully deserve to take all three points back to London, following a second-half performance that eventually proved too much for Anderlecht.
Hearts didn't enjoy the same success, however, as Fiorentina broke the deadlock in Edinburgh just four minutes after kick-off through Roland Mandragora.
The Scottish Premiership side struggled to get a grip on game throughout, conceding a second goal just before half-time as Cristian Kouame made no mistake from close.
Three minutes after the break, Hearts were reduced to ten men as Lewis Neilson was shown a straight red card.
After the sending off, the home side appeared to be in a state of damage control - but Luka Jovic bagged Fiorentina's third and final goal 11 minutes from full-time to round off the result.
