22:48 BST - After receiving the bumps from his team and doing a bit of on-field dancing, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti revealed his joy at managing this group of players after lifting the trophy for the fifth time as a coach.

"It seems a dream but it is reality - I'm happy," the Italian told TNT Sports.

"It's the history and tradition of the club. We have a fantastic environment, we work together without problems. The atmosphere in the dressing room is good. I have to say thank you to my club and the players with no big egos and being so humble. It's not difficult to manage this squad this season.

"We are not going to sleep tonight, that’s for sure."

22:16 BST - It was a much more traditional, all-round midfield display from Jude Bellingham tonight:

22:11 BST - Champions League winner Jude Bellingham was holding back the tears in an emotional interview with TNT Sports:

"I have always dreamed of playing in these games," the England midfielder said.

"You go through life and there are so many people who say you cannot do things. I was alright until I was in my mum and dad's face.

"My little brother is there and I'm trying to be a role model for him. I cannot put it into words. The best night of my life."

22:07 BST - An excellent way to sign off for Toni Kroos, a key assist and sturdy performance in midfield. What a player!

22:01 BST - This is the first time Real Madrid have gone unbeaten in an entire Champions League campaign. Ruthless.

Los Blancos will be partying in London tonight!

21:55 BST - Real are just moments away from their 15th European Cup...

21:49 BST - Niclas Fullkrug hammers a great header home but it's swiftly ruled out for offside.

21:47 BST - Toni Kroos is coming off to a massive reception from the Wembley crowd in what will be his last-ever club appearance.

21:45 BST - GOAL! Ian Maatsen makes a bad pass across his own goal that's picked up by Bellingham, who lays it off to Vinicius Jr who calmly slots the ball into the corner.

It's 2-0 and it looks like number 15 for Los Blancos.

21:43 BST - It's been all Madrid since the goal too, with a peach of a shot by Eduardo Camavinga saved excellently by Gregor Kobel, who then saves a headed attempt by Nacho that was almost a carbon copy of Carvajal's goal.

21:36 BST - GOAL! Dani Carvajal gets his head onto a corner to flick the ball into the net with 17 minutes to go.

The Spaniards have been slowly taking control of this match in this second half.

21:34 BST - Marco Reus is on for the last time in a Borussia Dortmund shirt.

21:32 BST - A big chance for Bellingham, who looks to get his head onto a lofted cross but misses the ball.

It's otherwise been a fairly quiet night for the Englishman.

21:28 BST - We've passed the hour mark and the Spanish champions are finally starting to assert themselves in the game, the wide men in Vinicius and Rodrygo especially. Still, the Dortmund defenders are resisting... for now.

21:14 BST - Dortmund have started strongly again in the first few minutes, racking up a couple of corners.

21:08 BST - We've kicked off for the second half. Who's landing the first blow?

20:51 BST - HALF-TIME: That's the first 45 in the books and it remains goalless at Wembley.

You have to say that the Germans have probably taken that round on points. Work for Ancelotti to do in the Madrid dressing room.

20:30 BST - Adeyemi's pace is causing all sorts of problems for Madrid right now.

Dortmund need to make some of this pressure count.

20:26 BST - Ooh, it's heating up. A few changeovers of possession and suddenly Niclas Fullkrug finds himself free and in on goal, he slips it past Courtois but it just bounces back off the post.

Decent chance for Karim Adeyemi not long before that as well, with the forward one-on-one with the keeper but he chose to go the wrong way.

20:17 BST - Bit of a feeling-out process between the two sides in the opening 15 minutes.

Real Madrid have had a couple of goes from distance but nothing too troubling for the Dortmund defence. The Germans themselves are having plenty of the ball, though.

20:00 BST - Here we go then! We're underway at Wembley!

19:53 BST - Just waiting for Lenny Kravitz to finish his pre-match performance in which he may or may not definitely be miming...

19:03 BST - The line-ups are in! Thibault Courtois does indeed start for Real Madrid, while Marco Reus will be on the bench at kick-off for Dortmund.

Remember you can follow live audio commentary from the game here from 19:55 BST.
