Football Tracker: Man Utd beaten in Copenhagen, Arsenal down Sevilla
23:00 GMT - Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag has spoken of his disappointment at losing to Copenhagen and said Rashford’s red card "was very harsh".
"The red card changed everything," he told TNT Sport. "We conceded two goals (before half-time). It was very disappointing.
"We have to deal with it. (At the moment) decisions go against us. At one point it will turn in our favour. It was a very harsh decision. I’m sure he was going for the ball. I think the referee was not sure.
"The two goals should never count… (the first was) offside, what can he (Maguire) do (for the penalty)?
"I have seen a lot of positives. We lost focus and it’s always hard to play so long with 10 men.
"(I'm) very disappointed. We fought so hard, played so good."
22:40 GMT - Rasmus Hojlund said Marcus Rashford’s red card proved to be decisive in their match against Copenhagen.
He told TNT Sport: "We started very well… we controlled the game until the red card and that changed the game.
"If you don’t look at the result we did quite well. We switched off a little bit. I know how the crowd can help the team here.
"We did quite good at the beginning of the second half (but) it’s unfortunate that we are here with zero points again."
22:27 GMT - Declan Rice has been speaking to TNT Sport and said their 2-0 win over Sevilla was "tough".
"It was good. Tough game. We knew what to expect and we knew it was a big night. We wanted to get three points on the board, that was key.
"After the upset in the cup and on the weekend, a club like Arsenal can't be losing three games in a row. The manager made that clear. Sometimes when you're playing against a back five it's hard to break down but we kept persisting.
"My best position is as a six, I get a bit excited as an eight and go off dribbling."
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta added: "I'm really happy with the performance from the team. They showed the aggression and commitment. Even when we lost the ball we were incredibly good to get it back.
"It's hard in Europe to control it how we did. We only allowed one shot in the 97th minute.
"The way we played in Newcastle I was really happy with, so it was more about winning (this time). I'm really happy."
22:15 GMT - Well well well. After a night of drama, how do the groups look now?
22:07 GMT - Man Utd have lost 4-3 to Copenhagen and their Champions League hopes have taken a significant hit tonight. If they lose to Galatasaray next (on November 29th), they’re out.
22:02 GMT - Look away Man Utd fans. Copenhagen are 4-3 up. Roony Bardghji has given them the lead in the 87th minute.
21:57 GMT - The full-time whistles are blowing around Europe, and it’s joy for Arsenal who edge closer to the knockouts with a comfortable win over Sevilla. They just need one point from their remaining two fixtures.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich book their places in the last 16, along with Inter Milan and Real Sociedad.
21:56 GMT - Man Utd have conceded for the third time against Copenhagen. Lukas Lerager makes it 3-3.
21:51 GMT - We’re into time added on at the end of tonight’s matches - aside from Man Utd’s clash against Copenhagen, who are 10 minutes behind.
21:47 GMT - It’s now 2-0 to Bayern - Harry Kane scores a brace and is on course for another hat-trick!
21:46 GMT - Inter Milan have taken the lead against Salzburg with a penalty from Lautaro Martinez. As it stands, both Inter Milan and Real Sociedad will qualify for the last 16 from Group D.
21:41 GMT - It’s taken 80 minutes, but Harry Kane - who else? - has given Bayern a crucial lead against Galatasaray. They will qualify for the last 16 as it stands.
Over in Copenhagen, Bruno Fernandez has just given Man Utd a 3-2 lead from the penalty spot. What a vital goal that could be.
21:24 GMT - Arsenal go 2-0 up with Bukayo Saka firing past Marko Dmitrovic. It could be 3-0 but Dmitrovic then saves a fizzing shot from Oleksandr Zinchenko.
It gets even worse for Sevilla with Boubakary Soumare, booked after 30 seconds from coming on as a substitute, goes down injured and is replaced.
The Gunners will move four points clear at the top of Group B as it stands. Sevilla will go bottom, three points adrift of PSV in second.
21:20 GMT - It’s 3-0 to Real Madrid! Rodrygo chips the goalkeeper and the ball bounces in the goal. Alvaro Djalo’s first-half penalty miss for Braga seems a long time ago now.
21:17 GMT - Man Utd are back underway against Copenhagen. There was a lengthy delay in the first-half due to a medial emergency in one of the stands.
21:16 GMT - Real Madrid have doubled their lead agianst Braga through Vinicius Junior, and are on course to book their place in the last 16 tonight with a 100% record.
21:10 GMT - Bayern are dominating their match against Galatasary but are yet to score. A Galatasary win in Germany will cause huge problems for Man Utd, who will be four points behind their Turkish Group A rivals with two matches to play.
21:02 GMT - The teams are coming back out. Arsenal were totally dominant in that half.
20:56 GMT - Copenhagen have equalised from the penalty spot after Harry Maguire handles in the box! From 2-0 down, Diogo Goncalves levels the score at 2-2.
This will need to be some half-time team-talk from Erik ten Hag.
20:49 GMT - The half-time whistles are blowing around Europe and Arsenal, PSV and Real Madrid go into the break ahead.
20:47 GMT - It’s all going wrong now. Copenhagen have pulled a goal back through Mohamed Elyounoussi. It’s 1-2 with 13 minutes of added time still to play in this half.
20:44 GMT - Ooof. How significant could that be. Marcus Rashford has been sent off for Man Utd following a VAR review and will miss their next two matches - away to Galatasaray and home to Bayern.
20:32 GMT - Man Utd go 2-0 up in Copenhagen with Rasmus Hojlund scoring his second of the night, while Arsenal take the lead against Sevilla with Leandro Trossard tapping into the net after a terrific passage of play from the Gunners.
20:28 GMT - Arsenal piling the pressure on Sevilla with 71% possession. Ben White and Kai Havertz both shoot over as Bakayo Saka goes down in the box. No penalty or VAR check. I wonder what Mikel Arteta makes of that.
In Spain, Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin saves a penalty from Braga’s Alvaro Djalo before Madrid take the lead through Brahim Diaz.
20:22 GMT - Luuk de Jong has opened the scoring for PSV against Lens to blow Group B wide open. Sevilla currently drop to the bottom of the group.
It’s still 1-0 to Man Utd but all other games are currently goalless after 20 minutes.
20:07 GMT - Man Utd have opened the scoring in Copenhagen with Rasmus Hojlund tapping into an open net to give them a 1-0 lead.
In London, Kai Havertz had a great chance to open the scoring for Arsenal but headed wide despite being unmarked from a corner.
20:02 GMT - We’re underway around Europe!
19:58 GMT - The players are lining-up and the Champions League theme is ringing around the grounds. We’re moments away from kick-off!
19:49 GMT - In the other early match, Union Berlin desperately needed a win but drew 1-1 at Napoli. Die Eisernen will be hoping Real Madrid beat Braga tonight or else they could find themselves out of Europe altogether if they fail to beat the Portuguese next.
19:40 GMT - Benfica - two-time European Cup champions and quarter-finalists the past two seasons - have crashed out of the Champions League with a 3-1 defeat at Real Sociedad, who now climb above Inter Milan at the top of Group D.
19:19 GMT - We have around 30 minutes remaining in the early kick-offs. Benfica have pulled one back against Real Sociedad, and Union Berlin have equalised in Naples.
19:10 GMT - There are some interesting facts and stats ahead of tonight:
Arsenal have won eight of their last 11 home European matches, losing only once, while Sevilla are without a win in any of their last 14 European matches (a run stretching back to 2020/21).
For Man Utd and Copenhagen there is of course a strong Danish connection. Rasmus Hojlund plays against his former team and could face his brother Oscar, who is named on the Copenhagen bench, while his other brother Emil plays for their youth team.
Elsewhere, Christian Eriksen is an international teammate of Andreas Cornelius, Rasmus Falk, Nicolai Boilesen and Peter Ankersen. Eriksen also played alongside Boilesen at Ajax from 2010-13, and Victor Lindelof played with Diogo Goncalves at Benfica B in 2014/15.
Friends reunited!
19:00 GMT - Team news is in for Arsenal v Sevilla and Copenhagen v Man Utd:
18:50 GMT - We’re back underway.
18:35 GMT - Wow. What a first-half from Real Sociedad. They currently lead 3-0 against Benfica and should have scored twice more, but Mikel Merino had a goal ruled out for handball and Brais Mendez saw his penalty smack off the post.
Over in Italy, Napoli are 1-0 up at the break courtesy of Matteo Politano who prodded the ball over the line with his chest.
Two-time champions Benfica and this season’s debutants Union Berlin are heading out as it stands. A huge 45 minutes coming up.
18:10 GMT - Benfica, quarter-finalists the last two seasons, are 3-0 down inside 21 minutes at Real Sociedad and are heading out as it stands. It could have been 4-0, but Mikel Merino had a second goal ruled out following a VAR review. They need a miracle here, surely.
Napoli v Union Berlin is still goalless.
17:45 GMT - And we’re underway in our two early matches. While Napoli and Real Sociedad won’t be guaranteed a place in the last 16 even if they win, Union Berlin and Benfica will definitely bow out of the competition if they lose tonight.
You can follow their progress by clicking on the links below:
16:40 GMT - It will be an emotional night for Man Utd’s Rasmus Hojlund, who returns to Copenhagen for the first time.
Hojlund was part of Copenhagen’s youth academy and scored five goals for the club in the Europa Conference League two years ago before moving to Sturm Graz.
It could also be a memorable match for his family as Hojlund looks set to face his brother Oscar, who plays in midfield for Copenhagen. The duo were in line to play against each other at Old Trafford, but Hojlund was substitued five minutes before his sibling was brought on.
Will they both start? We’ll bring you team news when we have it.
16:30 GMT - There are two early kick-offs in the Champions League tonight with Napoli v Union Berlin and Real Sociedad v Benfica getting underway at 5.45pm.
Of all the matches taking place - including Arsenal v Sevilla and Copenhagen v Man Utd - only Bayern and Real Madrid can join Man City and RB Leipzig in the last 16 ahead of kick-off tonight, with plenty of work still to do for the rest of the teams in the competition.
12:00 GMT - A visiting supporter was given a three-year football ban for making a racist gesture towards Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-Min, the club said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred during Tottenham's 1-0 home win over Crystal Palace in May. The offending fan was arrested and charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.
10:20 GMT - Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is "100 per cent" ready to face FC Copenhagen in Wednesday's Champions League trip after missing last weekend's 1-0 win at Fulham, manager Erik Ten Hag said.
However, United have been hit with a double injury blow as Brazil midfielder Casemiro and Argentina defender Lisandro Martinez are likely to be sidelined until late December.
10:00 GMT - Welcome back to our Football Tracker ahead of the second evening of Champions League action this week!
Manchester United face a key trip to bottom side FC Copenhagen in Group A with Erik ten Hag's side currently sitting in third.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are sitting strong at the top of Group B ahead of their fixture at home to Sevilla.
Both of the above matches kick off at 8pm.
The two early matches at 5.45pm are Napoli v Union Berlin and Real Sociedad v Benfica, while other notable fixtures this evening are Bayern Munich v Galatasaray and Real Madrid v Braga.
Tuesday, November 7th
22:15 GMT - Earlier this evening a depleted Newcastle side, rocked by injuries and suspension, were beaten 2-0 in Dortmund. Manager Eddie Howe has been speaking to the media and said his side "lost the ability to make certain decisions".
"In a sense, I'm being forced to make certain decisions and pick certain teams," he said. "(But) I'm not going to sit here and make excuses, that's what we have.
"We weren't far away tonight and I think us at our very best, even with the players we have out, is good enough."

Haaland now has 39 Champions League goals having played just 34 games!
21:05 GMT - The players are out across Europe and we back underway!
21:02 GMT - In case you missed it earlier, AC Milan fans - unhappy at Gianluigi Donnarumma's switch to PSG - threw fake notes at the player ahead of their match at the San Siro.
Donnarumma came through Rossoneri’s youth academy and played over 250 times for the club before moving to PSG in 2021.
The number is a reference to the Neapolitan system of interpreting dreams into winning lottery numbers, with 71 meaning 'a man without values'.
20:56 GMT - Man City and Atletico have enjoyed plenty of attempts on goal in that first half. What can Young Boys or Celtic do to turn the tide?

You can follow the latest stats from Dortmund v Newcastle and Shakhtar v Barcelona by clicking on the links.
17:15 GMT - We're 30 minutes away from kick-off and Newcastle are up against it tonight...
Dortmund have only lost one of their last 16 home games in the Champions League group stage, while Newcastle have won only once in their last nine European away matches - a 1-0 victory at Metalist Kharkiv in the 2012/13 Europa League round of 32.
16:45 GMT - The team news is in!
Newcastle make four changes to the team that lost 1-0 to Dormund two weeks ago. Callum Wilson, Joe Willock, Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall replace the injured Alexander Isak and Dan Burn, while Antony Gordon and Miguel Almirón drop to the bench.
Dortmund make five changes to their team. Julian Brandt, Niklas Sule, Julian Ryerson, Salih Ozcan and Karim Adeyemi replace Marco Reus, Donyell Malen, Marius Wolf and Ramy Bensebaini who drop to the bench.
Newcastle's growing injury list means they only name eight substitutes tonight, including 18-year-old striker Ben Parkinson and 21-year-old midfielder Lucas de Bolle. Sandro Tonali is of course suspended.
16:07 GMT - Ahead of the action, some worrying news from Italy as police have confirmed a PSG supporter was attacked on the eve of their match with AC Milan in the Navigli area of the city.
The attack comes less than two months after a Newcastle fan was stabbed in the same area of the city prior to their Champions League fixture against Milan in September.
You can read about the story here.
16:00 GMT - Hello and welcome along to our live coverage of a crucial evening in the Champions League.
It's set to be a busy night of European action and we start at the Westfalenstadion, where Newcastle face Dortmund in their finely-poised 'Group of Death'.
Both teams go into the match level on four points, two behind leaders PSG, but with only two games remaining after tonight, a defeat for either club could prove fatal.
Newcastle travel to Germany on the back of a controversial 1-0 win over Arsenal, while Dortmund suffered a thumping 4-0 defeat at home to Bayern. The bookies make Dortmund slight favourites, but Newcastle fans won’t care one jot about that.
Kick-off is at 5.45pm. We’ll bring you the team news as soon as we have it.
Two other British clubs are in action tonight; Celtic travel to Atletico Madrid needing a win to have any realistic chance of staying in the competition, while Man City could book their place in the last 16 with a point at home to Young Boys. Both of these matches kick off at 8pm.
Elsewhere, other stand-out ties include AC Milan v PSG (8pm), Shakhtar v Barcelona (5.45pm) and Lazio v Feyenoord (8pm).
