22:58 BST - Thanks for joining us this evening for another memorable night of European football as Bayer Leverkusen find themselves just four games away from an unbeaten treble-winning season.

Make sure to join us over the weekend as the Premier League returns, with Man City taking on Fulham and Arsenal making the trip to Manchester United as the title race goes down to the wire. See you there!

22:39 BST - Jeremie Frimpong had a parting shot for the Roma players:

22:34 BST - Jeremie Frimpong warned against ever counting Bayer Leverkusen out "even for a second".

"We did it again," he told TNT Sports. "I think this one was the best one so far. You could see how intense it was. It is the best feeling.

"We had to dig so deep. It is the semi-final of the Europa League against a great team. We were the better team and the better team won.

"Nothing was going in. We kept missing but this season we have been phenomenal. You can't count us out, not even for a second."

22:27 BST - Granit Xhaka says Bayer Leverkusen's incredible late goals to keep the unbeaten season alive is indicative of the "desire from the team".

"For the mentality we showed again today against a big team to come back like this and go through to the final - we are more than happy today," he told TNT Sports.

"You see the desire from the team, we didn't want to slow down. We wanted to score the next goal to keep going unbeaten, 49 times now. We are proud of it.

"Roma is a team that has a lot of experience and they do things very well but I think over two games the better team has gone to the final."

22:17 BST - A reminder that Bayer Leverkusen have created yet more history in a remarkable campaign after tonight’s dramatic draw sees Xabi Alonso’s side go a record 49th match this season without defeat.

Leverkusen have achieved the feat by winning 41 of their matches across all competitions while drawing the remaining eight, surpassing the previous record held by Eusebio’s Benfica between December 1963 and February 1965.

Arsenal went 49 league matches unbeaten from May 2003 to October 2004, however, that streak included a number of defeats in other competitions.

22:05 BST - That all means that your Europa League final will be between Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta, while in the Europa Conference League Fiorentina will play Olympiacos.

22:00 BST - FULL-TIME: An unbelievable finish to the game. Bayer Leverkusen have now gone 49 games unbeaten - a European record. Their treble dream is still alive as well. What a night for the players and fans. Click here for the full report.

21:57 BST - GOAL! They've done it again! Leverkusen's unbeaten streak will continue! Josip Stanisic is the man to make the Bayer Leverkusen fans go crazy.

21:53 BST - FULL-TIME: We have our first Europa League finalists and it's Atalanta, victors over Liverpool in the quarter-final stage, who have beaten Marseille 3-0 tonight, and 4-1 on aggregate.

21:52 BST - GOAL! El Bilal Toure has made sure of it for Atalanta, who are now 3-0 ahead.

21:43 GOAL! Ayoub El Kaabi now has his fifth goal of this tie, and has put Olympiacos 6-2 ahead on aggregate. That's it for Aston Villa in Europe.

21:42 GOAL! It's an own goal from Roma! Mancini is the man who turns the ball into the net with his head from a corner. As things stand Bayer Leverkusen could still be about to lose for the first time this season, but they are heading to the Europa League final if things stay this way.

21:26 BST - GOAL! Bayer Levekusen are on the verge of losing for the first time this season - and potentially not making it to the Europa League final. After a handball by Adam Hlozek in the area, Leandro Paredes steps up to double his sides lead with his second penalty of the night. Roma are 2-0 ahead on the night and the tie is now 2-2 on aggregate.

21:09 BST - GOAL! Matteo Ruggeri has doubled Atalanta's lead against Marseille. The Italians are two goals ahead on aggregate.

20:52 BST - HALF-TIME: We've reached half-time in tonight's three fixtures. Aston Villa have a mountain to climb - they need three goals at least, just to force extra time. In the other games Atalanta are 1-0 up against Marseille and Roma are leading the up-to-now still unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 as well.

20:43 BST - GOAL! Jonathan Tah is penalised for pulling an opponent's shirt in the box and Roma get the penalty. Leandro Paredes steps up and his shot down the middle fools Matej Kovar in goal. Bayer Leverkusen 0-1 Roma.

20:34 BST - GOAL! Ademola Lookman has given Atalanta the lead against Marseille with a brilliant solo effort. The first leg ended in a draw, so if either side win tonight they will progress to the final.

20:11 BST - GOAL! Aston Villa fans look away - Ayoub El Kaabi has scored for Olympiacos. That's four goals for him across the two legs already, and we still have about 80 minutes to go here tonight. Olympiacos 1-0 Aston Villa on the night, but 5-2 to the Greek side on aggregate.

20:00 BST - And we are underway at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium, where Villa need to overturn a two-goal deficit if they are to make their first European final since 1982.

19:15 BST - On the other side of the draw awaiting either Leverkusen or Roma will be the winner of Marseilles' game against Atalanta - here's how they will line up at kick-off tonight:

19:12 BST - Xabi Alonso's rampaging Bayer Leverkusen will have an additional incentive in their home second-leg Europa League semi-final against Roma: breaking a 59-year-old European football record.

Avoiding defeat against Roma tonight will not only mean a trip to Dublin for the Europa League final, it will also extend their unbeaten run to 49 games - the best mark in European football history.

An Eusebio-inspired Benfica went on a 48-game unbeaten streak between 1963 and 1965. The record has stood since, but Leverkusen have a golden chance of blowing it out of the water.

Here's the team Alonso has selected for tonight's game against Roma:

23:05 BST - An emotional Thomas Tuchel told TNT Sports: "We are almost through, it's almost there and there was a very unusual mistake from our best player for the equaliser then we conceded the second one in stoppage time.

"Then we scored one and there was a disastrous decision from the linesman and the referee. It feels like a betrayal in the end.

"There was a huge fight, we left everything on the pitch and we were almost there. Now we say congratulations to Real Madrid.

22:58 BST - Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti - who has reached a record sixth Champions League final - said he plans to celebrate his La Liga crown before refocusing on Dortmund.

"We had the strength to go up when they scored. It happened again here," told TNT Sports.

"We believed. Joselu did a fantastic job - he is a fantastic striker.

"I'm going to enjoy it of course from now until the final. We have fantastic days with our supporters to celebrate the league. It will be fantastic."

22:32 BST - Bayern Munich had a huge chance at the end of the match - which was swiftly ruled out for offside before the ball ended up in the back of the net.

Looked a bit tight, mind. A massive moment, that.

22:30 BST - Another trophyless campaign for Harry Kane - was his substitution on 84 minutes a catalyst for Bayern Munich's defeat tonight?

It certainly raised a few eyebrows...

22:19 BST - England's Jude Bellingham now has a Champions League final against his former club Borussia Dortmund to look forward to, which he describes as "a weird one".

"At Wembley, against Dortmund, it's a weird one, I can't believe it," Bellingham told TNT Sports.

Vinicius Jr hits a tame effort but Manuel Neuer - who's been incredible all evening - has an absolute howler, spills the ball and allows former Stoke man Joselu in to level the scores.

A huge moment for the super sub. Meanwhile, Bayern subbed Kane off just a few moments ago and extra time now looms...

21:29 BST - NO GOAL! The referee goes to the monitor and rules it out for a foul on Kimmich, who's on the ground in the box when the goal goes in.

It's still advantage Bayern but the Bernabeu is growing very lively.

21:28 BST - GOAL! It's all going off now and Real Madrid find an equaliser!

A corner routine finds its way to Nacho, who scuffs the ball onto De Ligt and the ball goes into the back of the net.

Meanwhile, Bayern's players are incensed as they think Joshua Kimmich has been fouled. VAR is taking a look...

21:25 BST - GOAL! Advantage to the Germans!

Real Madrid-linked Alphonso Davies fires an absolute rocket into the top corner after a sweet pick out from Harry Kane - all somewhat against the run of play. It's 1-0 to Bayern Munich on the night, 3-2 on aggregate to the Bavarians.

22:33 BST - Kylian Mbappe's Champions League journey is over this season, and that means the door is open for Harry Kane to finish as the competition's outright top scorer - though the England striker will no doubt be more interested in how his team fares against Real Madrid tomorrow night rather than his own goal tally.

Team news from Paris
Team news from ParisFlashscore

19:01 BST - Team news is in and Dortmund have picked the same side that beat PSG 1-0 in the first leg, having rested the entire starting XI with the exception of the keeper in their game against Augsburg over the weekend.

PSG were given the week off by the French league - as were Marseille and Lille who are in action on Thursday night - so they did not have any need to rest players. However, due to Lucas Hernandez's injury in the first leg, Lucas Beraldo starts tonight, and so does Goncalo Ramos who has replaced Bradley Barcola up front.

18:47 BST - We'll have the team news for tonight's clash shortly.

17:24 BST - Conditions look good in Paris.

16:36 BST - Hull have sacked Liam Rosenior after the club narrowly missed out on the Championship playoffs. Read all about it here.

15:28 BST - Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has asked his side not to worry about having to win the second leg by two goals in order to reach the final.

"The objective is not to play to win by two goals, it is just to win. You can't afford to think about having to win by two goals," Luis Enrique told reporters on Monday, weighing up the possibility of the tie being decided in extra time and even penalties.

"We need to score one first of all, and win the match."

13:13 BST - Nottingham Forest have failed with an appeal against their four-point deduction for breaking the Premier League's financial rules - click here for the full story.

11:47 BST - Here's a reminder of how the first leg played out in Dortmund:

11:35 BST - Good morning and welcome along for a big night in the Champions League as PSG host Dortmund in Paris. The Bundesliga side won the first leg 1-0 in Germany, but PSG away is a completely different prospect.

The last time Dortmund made the Champions League final, in 2013, they faced Bayern Munich at Wembley - could we be in for a repeat this season?
