22:51 GMT - Liverpool's game against Bayer Leverkusen was 0-0 after an hour. By the end of the 90 minutes, Liverpool had won 4-0 and Luis Diaz had a hattrick. Here's what he had to say to Amazon Prime after the game:
"The most important thing is the three points in this edition of the Champions League so we can keep progressing in the competition.
"Things have gone so well with the new manager, it wasn't easy for him to come in and fill Jurgen Klopp's shoes. Hopefully, we'll have something to show for it at the end of the season.
"We have top-quality players all over the pitch and I really enjoyed playing in that position today. I'm just happy to be on the pitch.
"I need to go and find that ball now because I need to keep it somewhere special at home."
22:43 GMT - Pep Guardiola was quick to pay credit to Sporting for their victory.
“Cannot say much when you lose 4-1. Congratulations to Sporting Lisbon for the game," the Man City boss told TNT Sports.
“We had a fantastic first half, now we are struggling to score. We create and concede when the opponents don’t do much.
“The first half was really good, we scored a goal, but every pass, the simple things we missed sometimes.
“It can happen. After the third and the fourth we have to avoid it. Emotionally we were not stable enough and in this competition you have to be stable. At 2-1, many things can happen. We have to be emotionally more stable.
“It was a very good action for them. They made a good moment, they were fast and scored."
22:36 GMT - Liverpool have now won 14 out of 16 games under Arne Slot, but the Dutchman is refusing to get carried away.
"I don't know if it was that much to do with intensity but we took more risk," he told Amazon Prime.
"They overloaded the midfield a lot and we adjusted a half-time and took the risk to play one v one all over. We had better chances in the first half and they weren't a goal threat.
"As much as this time, how good they are in Europe, sometimes a strong target-man is better than someone a bit faster. Curtis Jones did an incredible pass and then you have someone with the pace of Lucho to finish it off. The pass was as good as the goal in my opinion.
"You don't look ahead as a manager at the next three months. You're always one game at a time. We've got Aston Villa on Saturday, another tough game."
22:27 GMT - Viktor Gyokeres has described Sporting's win as a "brilliant night" and says he and his teammates will miss Ruben Amorim.
"It's always nice to score and even better to score a hattrick. Most important was to win the game so it was a brilliant night for us," he told UEFA.
"We knew it was going to be tough and we didn't start off well. We knew they would give us space and we could have scored more than four to be fair. They could have scored more as well.
"You need to raise your level when you play better opponents. I tried to keep doing what I've been doing."
On the depature of Amorim, Gyokeres said: "We will miss him a lot. We've done amazing things together."

22:11 GMT - While all the talk will be about Ruben Amorim, Pep Guardiola won't mind that too much right now. That's now three losses in a row for City, after they were beaten by Spurs and Bournemouth in the Premier League prior to tonight's second-half capitulation. Things will start getting a little testy in Manchester if that form continues.
21:59 GMT - In tonight's other matches, AC Milan have recorded a famous 3-1 victory over reigning champions Real Madrid, while Dortmund have beaten Sturm Graz 1-0, Monaco have beaten Bologna by the same scoreline, and Lille's match against Juventus has ended 1-1.
