Coventry 1-0 Plymouth
Plymouth Argyle’s difficulties on the road continued as they failed to win their ninth consecutive Championship game away from home after controversially losing 1-0 against Coventry.
Hull 4-1 Rotherham
Hull City ran out convincing winners as they beat Rotherham United 4-1 at the MKM Stadium, meaning the Tigers have now lost just one of their last six league fixtures (W4, D1).
Middlesbrough 4-0 Preston
Middlesbrough registered their first set of back-to-back Championship victories over Preston North End since December 2010, dispatching the Lilywhites 4-0 at the Riverside Stadium.
QPR 4-2 Stoke
Queens Park Rangers struck twice in the final 10 minutes to come from behind against 10-man Stoke City, securing a 4-2 victory at Loftus Road to give new manager Martí Cifuentes his first win in four games since taking charge.
Watford 3-2 Norwich
Watford kept up their impressive recent league record against Norwich City as they battled back from 2-0 down to claim a 3-2 victory and stretch their H2H run to eight wins from nine meetings.
