Plymouth Argyle reinforced Home Park’s reputation as a fortress, with a 6-2 demolition of promotion hopefuls Norwich City that extended their impressive record as the best-performing home outfit within the top four tiers of the English football pyramid since the start of 2022/23.
Rotherham 1-1 Preston
Preston North End came from behind to keep their unbeaten start to the Championship season going, as they drew 1-1 with Rotherham United at the AESSEAL New York Stadium. The Lilywhites have now managed to find the back of the net in each of their last nine games across all competitions.

Swansea City piled the pressure on newly-promoted Sheffield Wednesday after a comprehensive 3-0 victory left the winless Owls bottom of the Championship and without a H2H away win since 1983.
West Brom 0-0 Millwall
West Bromwich Albion and Millwall played out a goalless draw, as the home side were twice denied by the woodwork, and also had their goalkeeper, Alex Palmer, to thank for a penalty save. The result is a third consecutive draw between the two sides at the Hawthorns Stadium.
