Liverpool to face Fulham as Boro brace for Chelsea in EFL Cup semis
After Liverpool comfortably coasted past West Ham 5-1 at Anfield in the last remaining EFL Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night, the semi-final draw has been revealed.
Liverpool will face Fulham in the semi-finals, following on from the Cottagers' dramatic penalty victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Tuesday.
It is the first time in the club's history that Fulham have reached the semi-final stage in this competition.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough - victorious against Port Vale on Tuesday evening - will face Chelsea at home in their first leg.
It is the last time the League Cup semi-finals will be played over two legs.
The first legs will be played on the week commencing January 8th, while the final will take place at Wembley on Sunday, February 25th.
