22:35 BST - John Stones told ITV he felt England's performance had improved but that there was still room to improve:

"The objective was to top the group and we have done that - it is not always going to be an easy road. It is not going to be easy when we have a target on our back to beat us.

"I thought there was a lot of improvement from the other two games, we found people in the pockets and created more chances - another step in the right direction.

22:28 BST - Gareth Southgate's side will face the third-placed team from Group D, E, or F—potentially the Netherlands—in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday.

The Dutch finished third in Group D.

Group E is still on a knife edge with Romania, Belgium, Slovakia and Ukraine all on three points each, while it's a shootout between Turkey, Czech Republic and Georgia for third in Group F.

22:15 BST - England captain Harry Kane told ITV the aim was to win the group first and foremost.

"Come top of the group and control our destiny," Kane said.

"I thought we played a lot better than the other games. We couldn't just find that finish but we look forward to the next one."

21:38 BST - We're into the final 10 minutes. Can England muster anything from what has been yet another poor display?

21:16 BST - Still no goals in either game as we reach 60 minutes on the clock.

20:30 BST - Still goalless in Munich between Denmark and Serbia, with the Danes looking the more likely to bite first.

20:21 BST - A nice bit of play results in a goal from Bukayo Saka, but it's correctly ruled out for an offside in the build-up.

20:11 BST - Honestly, any England fans looking for an immediate response will be disappointed.

It's been a relatively nervy, disjointed start from the Three Lions, with Slovenia already threatening.

20:00 BST - We're underway in the final Group C games!

19:54 BST - Here we go then, the teams are on their way out for the anthems.

19:48 BST - Victory would crown England as group winners, placing them on the opposite side of the draw from the likes of France, Germany, Portugal, and Spain – a dream scenario for the Three Lions as the tournament progresses.

Conversely, a second-place finish would pit them against Germany in the next round. Less ideal, that.

19:14 BST - The line-ups are in for tonight's Group C games, including England, who make one change with Conor Gallagher replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield.

18:35 BST - PENALTY POLAND!

18:17 BST - GOAL! Austria retake the lead against the Netherlands through Romano Schmid! His header deflects in off of a Dutch defender - his first goal for Austria.

18:15 BST - GOAL FRANCE! Mbappe converts from the spot to give them the lead against Poland - now they top the group!

18:15 BST - PENALTY FRANCE!

18:04 BST - GOAL! Cody Gakpo levels for the Netherlands right at the start of the second half - they move back to the top of Group D.

17:49 BST - Half-time in both games. Just the one goal so far as Malen puts one into his own net to give Austria the lead against the Netherlands.

Goalless between France and Poland. As it stands, Austria are going through as group winners!

17:35 BST - Little to report since Austria's early goal as both matches head towards half-time.

France have had a little more of the ball than Poland but nothing to show for it so far.

17:08 BST - GOAL! Austria have a surprise lead over the Netherlands - Donyell Malen turns the ball into his own net and top spot is slipping away.

21:39 BST - Luka Modric is substituted to a standing ovation from the stadium.

He's now the oldest goalscorer ever in the Euros at the ripe old age of 38 years and 289 days. Legend.

21:38 BST - Spain are still a goal up and not looking in any trouble against Albania, who are definitely heading out right now.

It's been all Italy since they've conceded against Croatia.

21:17 BST - Croatia now leapfrog Italy into second in the group, as it stands...

21:13 BST - GOAL! Croatia keep up the pressure and force Donnarumma into another brilliant point-blank save, before Modric picks up on the rebound to hammer his side ahead.

21:12 BST - PENALTY SAVED! Modric fluffs his lines but it's a fantastic save from Gianluigi Donnarumma.

20:14 BST - GOAL! Spain are looking hot once more and they take an early lead against Albania through Ferran Torres.

It gives Croatia a bit of space in third in the group as it stands.

19:57 BST - Here we go then! Group B comes to a head tonight; follow all the action with our live audio commentary, or simply stick with us here in the Tracker.

19:42 BST - Luka Modric earns his 178th cap for Croatia tonight - his first coming back in 2006.

19:37 BST - Bit of a luxury for the Spain camp tonight.

They're already through to the last 16 and have made 10 changes to their starting XI against Albania tonight.

19:17 BST - Spain have already secured first place in Group B and a spot in the knockout stages.

Italy just need a draw against Croatia to join them, but a loss combined with an Albanian win over Spain knocks them out.

Albania can snatch second if they upset Spain and Croatia beat Italy, though a big margin of victory for Croatia over Italy could see them leapfrog Albania even with an Albanian win.

Croatia can also grab the runner-up spot with a win over Italy as long as Albania don't pull off a surprise against Spain.

Third will likely be enough to progress but it won't be clear for another couple of days.

13:17 BST - Good afternoon and welcome to our Football Tracker! We'll be bringing you all the key updates from the final round of group stage fixtures this week, starting with the conclusion of Group A tonight.

Scotland face Hungary, while hosts Germany - who are already through - go against Switzerland who have likely sealed at least second place barring a huge swing in goal difference.

The Scots can still make it into the knockout rounds as one of the best third-placed teams with either a win or a draw, but a win would put them in a far better position. They could also reach second but would need a six-goal swing in their favour.

Both games kick off at 20:00.
