Liverpool, Brighton, West Ham and Rangers have found out their opponents for the Europa League round of 16. Aston Villa will face Ajax in the Europa Conference League round of 16.

11:25 GMT - It's a favourable draw for Liverpool and a repeat of the group stages for West Ham, while Brighton and Rangers have tougher tasks in their Europa League round of 16 fixtures.

The Reds will be happy with their fixtures against Sparta Prague as Jurgen Klopp looks to close out his tenure with another European trophy.

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi returns to Italy when they take on Roma, while West Ham face Freiburg who they already beat twice earlier in the group stages.

Rangers have the tricky task of beating European veterans Benfica over two legs.

English sides Liverpool, West Ham and Brighton - as well as Scottish club Rangers - are set to learn their fates.

Who is in the draw?

The draw will consist of eight seeded sides - the winners of each group - as well as eight unseeded sides; the eight teams that progressed from the first knockout round.

No side can face another from the same national association.

Seeded teams: Atalanta, Brighton, Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool, Rangers, Slavia Prague, Villarreal, West Ham.

Unseeded teams: AC Milan, Benfica, Freiburg, Marseille, Qarabag, Roma, Sparta Prague, Sporting.

When do the ties take place?

The round of 16 will be played over two legs. The first legs are scheduled for Thursday, March 7th, with the second legs a week later on March 14th.

The winners of the eight ties advance to the quarter-finals, with the draw scheduled for Friday, March 15th. The losers are completely out of European competition for the season.
