22:49 GMT - Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola heaped praise on his side for finally getting out of Tottenham with a goal and a win.

"We are trying to defend the title and coming here is difficult.

He also paid a touching tribute to old foe Jurgen Klopp after the Liverpool manager's announcement earlier in the day, claiming the German "will be missed."

22:45 GMT - Despite not managing to win the game and being forced into a replay, Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino was happy with the way his side performed in their 0-0 draw against Aston Villa tonight:

"I think it was a very good game, I think we dominated more of the beginning," the Argentine told the BBC.

"In the second half, after 70 minutes, we start to drop our energy because we played three days ago, and of course that is a massive difference.

"I am so happy with the performance of the whole team, I think the performance was good we just weren't clinical enough.

"To face a team like Aston Villa who are doing fantastic in the Premier League and are in the top four, I think it's a very good signal that we are improving.

"It was a tough game against a top side," Postecoglou told ITV.

"We worked hard to stay in the game and conceded so late. But they were the better side.

"We continue on with the way we’ve been going, it doesn’t mean today changes anything for us."

And on Nathan Ake's late goal: "I'm sure they had a good look at it and the referee and VAR didn't see anything wrong with it.

"The decision was made and we have to accept it."
