The LaLiga match between Real Madrid and Osasuna took took a dark turn for Real after half an hour. Centre-back Eder Militao was forced off injured with what appeared to be a serious knee injury.

The Brazilian had to be carried off the pitch by stretcher after a corner. Militao fell to the ground before the ball was even near and immediately cried out in pain. He tore his cruciate ligament in August 2023 and was subsequently out for seven months.

However, the 35-time international was not Real Madrid's first player forced off early due to injury. Compatriot Rodrygo also dropped out earlier with an injury.

Both have been selected for Brazil's squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela (14th November) and Uruguay (20th November).
