Al-Ahli agree £30.4m deal for Man City winger Riyad Mahrez
The 32-year-old winger will undergo a medical tomorrow (Thursday, July 20th) ahead of signing a three-year contract with the option of a further year, according to The Athletic.
Mahrez is set to become the third player from the Premier League to join Al-Ahli this summer following Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.
The Algeria international joined City from Leicester in a £60m deal in 2018 and enjoyed a successful and productive five seasons, which yielded 11 trophies.
He won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three League Cups and the Champions League, which City achieved last month in Istanbul, Turkey.
Mahrez scored 78 goals in 236 games across all competitions under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola.
