Chelsea agree deal with Mauricio Pochettino to take over as manager
According to Sky Sports and multiple other outlets, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Mauricio Pochettino to be their new head coach from the beginning of next season.
Blues legend Frank Lampard is currently in charge on an interim basis after taking over from Graham Potter in April, but he has only managed to pick up one win in eight games.
Pochettino has been out of action since the summer of 2022 when he departed PSG. He won one Ligue 1 title and a Coupe de France during his 18-month stint.
He will return to England where he has already had some success, impressing at Southampton and Chelsea's London rivals Tottenham, taking them to the Champions League final in 2019.
