Leeds United, currently 14th in the English Premier League, have evacuated their stadium and closed the club shop on the advice of police, the club said on Friday.
According to Phil Hay, a journalist for The Athletic, Leeds United were alerted by police about a security threat that led to the stadium grounds' evacuation.
There are no concrete details of the threat other than that it was made via social media. West Yorkshire Police are patrolling the area.
Leeds United are 14th in the Premier League with 26 points, two above the relegation zone.
