Premier League Player of the Week: Emerson stars in West Ham victory
Italian Emerson was awarded a 9.5 player rating for his role in the win, which saw him dominate up and down the flank.
The former Chelsea man had the most chances created in the match with four, with one of them being converted by hat-trick hero Jarrod Bowen following a cutback.
He was defensively resilient too, winning a match-high four tackles and nine duels as well as making five interceptions.
But Emerson made sure to cap off his performance with a goal - and not just any ordinary one at that - arrowing an effort from distance straight into the top corner.
It became West Ham's first win in nine games in 2024 and they will look to build on the victory when they travel to Everton on Saturday.
