Premier League Player of the Week: Foden continues stellar season

Manchester City's academy star netted twice during a 3-1 win against Manchester United, the first of which was an excellent strike from outside the area and the second a composed finish inside the box.

Foden has stood out in an incredible City side this season and his showing last weekend was the latest in a string of top performances from the midfielder.

His form can only be a good thing for both club and country, with Euro 2024 on the horizon.

Foden was actually tied with West Ham's Alphonse Areola this week, with both players on a 9.1, but the significance of the Englishman's performance in a game as huge as the Manchester derby makes him our Player of the Week.

City are next in Premier League action against fellow title challengers Liverpool on Sunday, March 10th.
