Premier League Team of the Week: Everton feature heavily after big win
That means it's that time again where Flashscore select their Team of the Week using our dedicated player ratings system.
GK: Jordan Pickford, 8.0 (Everton)
Jordan Pickford is the first of five (yes, five!) Everton players to make the Team of the Week after their dominant 3-0 win against fellow strugglers Bournemouth.
The goalkeeper made three saves and helped the Toffees to their first clean sheet of the season, giving them a platform to push on from going into the rest of the campaign.
DEF: Kieran Trippier, 8.1 (Newcastle)
Another weekend goes by and again, Kieran Trippier makes the Team of the Week.
Both his attacking and defensive contribution has been key for Newcastle all season and it was no different during their 2-2 draw against West Ham - providing another assist to take his tally to five for the season, the joint highest in the league.
DEF: Cristian Romero, 8.9 (Tottenham Hotrspur)
Flashscore's Player of the Week this time around is Cristian Romero, who earned the highest rating across the weekend by quite a distance.
His stellar performance in Spurs' 1-0 win against Luton saw him earn an 8.9 player rating, with the Argentine continuing to establish himself as one of the best defenders in the league.
Romero made 12 clearances, three interceptions, three tackles and won 11 duels as the 10-men of Spurs battled to an impressive victory.
DEF: James Tarkowski, 8.1 (Everton)
Another top performer for Everton, James Tarkwoski partners Romero in defence this week.
The defender made eight clearances, two blocks, three tackles and one interception during Everton's emphatic win over Bournemouth and proved why he will be key to any chances of the Toffees remaining in the Premier League for another season.
DEF: Solly March, 8.4 (Brighton)
A minor injury crisis in defence meant that Brighton had to play winger Solly March at left-back during their 2-2 draw against Liverpool, but the wideman was unphased and managed to make positive contributions at both ends of the pitch.
March provided the assist for Brighton's equaliser, delivering a superb cross for Lewis Dunk to fire home.
He also put in a solid defensive showing up against Mohamed Salah - making six tackles, three interceptions and winning 10 ground duels.
MID: Jack Harrison, 8.5 (Everton)
The best performer during Everton's win against Bournemouth was Jack Harrison, who scored and provided an assist as the Toffees secured a huge win in their bid for Premier League survival.
Harrison had struggled to get into the team up to this point but took his chance when it was presented to him and now has surely made the right wing spot his to lose.
MID: James Maddison, 8.4 (Tottenham Hotspur)
James Maddison is another player who seems to get into the Team of the Week almost every single time thanks to his fantastic performances since joining Spurs last summer.
His fine form continued against Luton, providing the assist for Mickey van de Ven's winning goal - taking him joint-top of the playmaking charts alongside Trippier and Wolves' Pedro Neto.
MID: Abdoulaye Doucoure, 8.3 (Everton)
Abdoulaye Doucoure was amongst the goals for Everton over the weekend and appears to be thriving in a more advanced role.
Once a defensive midfielder, the ex-Watford man is now playing slightly further forward and having an impact at the top end of the pitch.
Doucoure completed two successful dribbles, made two key passes and had three shots on target during an excellent win for Everton.
MID: Dwight McNeil, 8.3 (Everton)
The final Everton player to feature in the Team of the Week is Dwight McNeil, who excelled on the wing during a superb win against Bournemouth.
McNeil made six key passes and created two big chances, while also completing two dibbles and attempting 10 crosses during a match where he was at his creative best.
FWD: Cole Palmer, 8.1 (Chelsea)
Chelsea had to come from behind to beat Burnley 4-1, with Cole Palmer taking centre stage as the Blues' attack finally seemed to click into place.
The former Manchester City winger scored once and provided an assist as Chelsea won their third match in a row in all competitions.
FWD: Willian, 8.1 (Fulham)
Another side to pick up a much-needed win over the weekend was Fulham, who beat relegation rivals Sheffield United 3-1 at Craven Cottage.
Veteran forward Willian was on top form for the hosts and scored a superb goal at the end of the match to seal all three points for the London club.
Like Palmer, Willian doesn't quite fit in the Team of the Week as an out-and-out striker, but his rating was higher than any other striker in the league and thus makes our side.
