Premier League Team of the Week: Grealish and Haaland feature
With all the Easter weekend fixtures wrapped up, it's time for another Flashscore Team of the Week.
GK - Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal)
Aaron Ramsdale was key to Arsenal holding on for a 2-2 draw against Liverpool, making a string of impressive saves to ensure the Gunners didn't slip to their fourth league defeat of the season.
His dive late on to deny Mohamed Salah's deflected shot particularly stood out, as did his block from Ibrahima Konate's close-range effort.
DEF - Tyrell Malacia (Manchester United)
Erik Ten Hag had to call upon Tyrell Malacia in the absence of Luke Shaw for Manchester United's 2-0 win against Everton, where the Dutch defender excelled.
Malacia was composed throughout and made eight recoveries, three tackles and two interceptions as the Red Devils claimed a valuable three points on their hunt to solidify a top four spot.
DEF - Angelo Ogbonna (West Ham United)
Despite having a horrible time during the week against Newcastle, West Ham bounced back with an impressive away win against European hopefuls Fulham.
Angelo Ogbonna was a rock in the Hammers' defence, where he made 12 clearances, three interceptions and two blocks - while only attempting 10 passes - in a no-nonsense style display.
DEF - Alex Moreno (Aston Villa)
The Spaniard looked shaky on his arrival at Villa Park but has grown into the side, playing a big part in their rise up the table.
He performed well at both ends of the pitch during Villa's 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest, making four tackles and creating two chances.
MID - Michael Olise (Crystal Palace)
The shock of the weekend came when relegation candidates Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Leeds United 5-1 away from home, with Michael Olise providing a hat-trick of assists during the second half alone.
Olise has struggled to perform consistently for Palace throughout the season but was at his best on Sunday afternoon and will be key to their chances of survival.
MID - Matheus Nunes (Wolves)
Wolves put a dampener on Frank Lampard's return to management with Chelsea, winning 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Midfielder Matheus Nunes scored the only goal of the game, with his exceptional volley from the side of the area flying past Kepa Arrizabalaga and into the top corner.
MID - Philip Billing (Bournemouth)
Philip Billing has quietly gone under the radar this season, but continued his good form with another winning goal during Bournemouth's 1-0 victory against Leicester City.
The midfielder latched on to a poor back pass to net his seventh goal of the season - the most of any Bournemouth player.
MID - Jack Grealish (Manchester City)
Manchester City put in another dominant display on Saturday evening, easily beating bottom of the league Southampton 4-1.
In what has become less surprising with each passing week, Jack Grealish was again one of the best players on the pitch and contributed with a goal and an assist.
The winger has been excellent during 2023 and will play a big part in City's push for a seventh Premier League title.
FWD - Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace)
The Ghanaian striker scored twice during Palace's 5-1 win against Leeds, proving he still has something to contribute despite struggling to fine form over the last few months.
Ayew wasn't the only Eagles player who had a hard time in front of goal over the last couple of months, but his brace at the weekend could help to propel the London club away from the dangers of relegation.
FWD - Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Erling Haaland - to the surprise of no one - scored a brace this weekend and took his overall tally to 30 league goals for the season.
His first strike was impressive, peeling away from the Southampton defence to head past Gavin Bazunu, but his second was truly spectacular.
The Norwegian pulled off a superb bicycle kick, firing in from Grealish's cross to extend City's lead.
FWD - Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal)
While the end result was disappointing, Gabriel Martinelli stood out in Arsenal's 2-2 draw against Liverpool.
His instinctive finish opened the scoring, before he turned provider for Gabriel Jesus just 20 minutes later.
Martinelli gave Trent Alexander-Arnold a tough time defensively, often getting the better of his opponent and causing trouble for the Liverpool defence.
