The final week of Premier League action before the first international break of the campaign has been and gone and we were once again treated to a number of star-studded performances.

Using the Flashscore player rating system, it's time to take a look at our Premier League Team of the Week!

GK: Jordan Pickford, 7.5 (Everton)

To say it was a strange weekend for Jordan Pickford would be an understatement given the highs and lows he experienced during Everton's manic 2-2 draw at Sheffield United.

Branded an early relegation six-pointer, it looked to be a tough afternoon for the Toffees after Cameron Archer's shot cannoned in off Pickford for an own goal to put the Blades ahead. The England international, though, did not let that affect him.

Pickford made a sensational double save in second-half stoppage time to deny Ollie McBurnie from a corner, first saving onto the crossbar and then a second effort onto the post. He ended the match with six saves in total.

DEF: Trent Alexander-Arnold, 8.2 (Liverpool)

Trent Alexander-Arnold looked at his very best as Liverpool cruised past Aston Villa 3-0, becoming the third player to assist 10 goals in the Premier League in 2023.

The 24-year-old's passing was on point during what was a routine win at Anfield as he continued to demonstrate his ability when inverting into midfield from right-back - his five chances created a match-high.

DEF: Kurt Zouma, 8.8 (West Ham)

Rock solid at the back, Kurt Zouma stepped up in West Ham's 2-1 win at early strugglers Luton.

The Frenchman made a whopping 11 clearances and three interceptions while he also found the scoresheet, towering above everyone to meet James Ward-Prowse's corner and put the Hammers two up.

His 8.8 player rating was the highest earned by a defender this weekend.

DEF: Nathan Patterson, 8.4 (Everton)

Another Everton player to make the side, Nathan Patterson had a busy afternoon up and down the right flank against Sheffield United.

The Scotland international worked tirelessly all game and saw his perfect cross into the box converted at close range by Arnaut Danjuma, which ended up being the leveller.

MID: Mohamed Salah, 8.4 (Liverpool)

It was another good day's work for Mohamed Salah as he put in a fine display during Liverpool's win over Aston Villa.

Salah caused the visitors plenty of problems all afternoon, creating two big chances for his teammates before making sure of the points with a back-post tap-in in the second half.

MID: Eberechi Eze, 8.7 (Crystal Palace)

Eberechi Eze seems to be enjoying life as Crystal Palace's talisman after helping lead his side to a hard-fought 3-2 win at home to Wolves.

After creating a match-high four chances, the 25-year-old netted his first goal of the season after latching onto Jean-Phillipe Mateta's clever flick inside off of his back.

MID: Manor Solomon, 8.6 (Tottenham)

After being handed his first league start of the campaign, Manor Solomon repaid the faith given to him by Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou with a creative display in his side's 5-2 dismantling of Burnley.

The Israel international created five chances - the most in the match - and set up two goals as Spurs steamrolled their way towards a third win in a row.

MID: Pedro Neto, 8.4 (Wolves)

It wasn't to be for Wolves at Crystal Palace, but it was a tidy display from Portuguese winger Pedro Neto who had a hand in both of his side's goals.

He registered two assists at Selhurst Park, the first of which saw his free kick flicked in by Hwang Hee-chan before another one of his crosses was converted by Matheus Cunha

A good individual performance on another disappointing day for Gary O'Neil's men.

MID: Son Heung-min, 8.5 (Tottenham)

Notching one of three hat-tricks in the Premier League over the weekend, Son Heung-min looked as comfortable as ever as he took up the centre-forward role against Burnley.

The Spurs captain's first of the season saw him clip an effort over the onrushing James Trafford before two clinical finishes saw him leave Turf Moor with the match ball.

It was the cherry on top of a superb afternoon for Spurs, who maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign.

FWD: Evan Ferguson, 9.1 (Brighton)

Evan Ferguson became just the fourth player to score a Premier League hat-trick aged 18 or younger after his superb treble in Brighton's impressive 3-1 win over Newcastle.

His overall display against the Magpies was something of awe, but the way in which he grabbed his goals showed exactly why he is bound to be a hot prospect in years to come.

He was in the right place at the right time to capitalise on an error by Nick Pope before brilliantly picking the corner from range to add his second.

Ferguson's third did come slightly fortuitously via a deflection, but there is no taking anything away from him after a statement performance.

FWD: Erling Haaland, 9.3 (Manchester City)

Drought? What drought? Erling Haaland had gone four games without a home goal for Manchester City and he made sure to put an end to that streak with a clinical hat-trick against Fulham.

The Norwegian slotted home after latching onto Julian Alvarez's ball through before grabbing his second via the penalty spot.

Haaland's third saw him thunder in a cut-back to lift his season tally to six goals in four appearances and gain a 9.3 rating - the highest earned by any player this weekend.
