It was another dramatic week in the Premier League with high-scoring games, temperamental displays and manager dismissals. With that said, here is the latest Flashscore Team of the Week!

GK - Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa)

Aston Villa's fine form continued after defeating wayward Chelsea 2-0 and Martinez held the fort down expertly at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine made seven saves - six of which came from shots inside the penalty area - and two high claims en route to a second consecutive clean sheet.

DEF - Kieran Trippier (Newcastle)

It was yet another superb result in this excellent season for Newcastle as they dominated Manchester United to claim a 2-0 win at St James' Park.

Trippier was a usual threat at right-back making four key passes and tallied an assist with his perfect cross finding the head of Callum Wilson for the Magpies' second goal.

DEF - Nayef Aguerd (West Ham)

Aguerd's debut season at West Ham has been a challenging one but he made a big impact in the Hammers' relegation six-pointer against Southampton, scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win.

The Moroccan rose highest from a corner to head in a powerful effort, which was enough to decide a crucial contest at the London Stadium.

DEF - Michael Keane (Everton)

Keane was in the thick of a bonkers 1-1 draw between Everton and Tottenham but recovered after giving away a penalty in fine fashion.

The centre-back - in uncharted territory - atoned for his earlier error by rifling an effort from distance past Hugo Lloris to earn the Toffees a hard-fought point in their bid for Premier League survival.

DEF - Nathan Ake (Manchester City)

There were plenty of excellent displays in Manchester City's 4-1 dismantling of Liverpool but Ake continued his steady stream of performances at left-back.

The Dutchman fared well against Liverpool's main threat in Mohamed Salah and made three blocks, two clearances and an interception for the Cityzens.

MID - John McGinn (Aston Villa)

Villa's win at Chelsea was also due to a big showing from tireless Scotland midfielder McGinn, who provided an all-action display for Unai Emery's side.

After striking the crossbar, McGinn curled a stunning effort from the outside the box for Villa's second and in the process ended a 48-game run without a club goal.

MID - Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle)

As ever, it was another commanding showing in central midfield from Bruno Guimaraes, who controlled the game expertly as Newcastle downed United.

The Brazilian showed off his superb range of passing and efforts off the ball - having an impact on the Magpies' opening goal of proceedings.

MID - Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

De Bruyne was at the centre of all things positive for City as he ramped up the quality in the second half against Liverpool to give the visitors little chance.

City's creator nudged them ahead straight after the interval before he set up Jack Grealish to put the icing on the cake.

FWD - Jack Grealish (Manchester City)

Likely his best performance in a City shirt to date, Grealish dazzled against Liverpool, who simply had no answer to the tricky winger.

He gave Trent Alexander-Arnold a nightmare down the left flank and was key to the attack, setting up the equaliser in Julian Alvarez's goal before capping his day off with one of his own and City's fourth.

FWD - Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal)

Returning to the Arsenal side for his first league start since November, it was a good day at the office for Jesus as the Gunners breezed past lowly Leeds 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

The Brazilian won and converted a penalty for the game's opening goal and notched his second after half-time in what was another important victory for the table-toppers.

FWD - Julian Alvarez (Manchester City)

Stepping in to fill the void left by the injured Erling Haaland, Alvarez made sure City had nothing to worry about with what he produced against Liverpool.

The Argentine forward was involved in all of City's first three goals, while he scored the first to level the game after burying a cross from Grealish.

His movement allowed De Bruyne to score and put City ahead before his shot rebounded into the path of Ilkay Gundogan, who added some breathing room for the hosts.
