GK: Nick Pope, 8.0 (Newcastle)

Starting in goal, Nick Pope was the only Newcastle player to really come out with any credit after their 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

The 31-year-old made a huge eight saves at the Vitality Stadium to help his side only come away without a battering.

DEF: Oleksandr Zinchenko, 8.9 (Arsenal)

We acknowledge the slightly odd positioning of not just Oleksandr Zinchenko, but pretty much anything goes in these squads.

A best performance of the season for Zinchenko in Arsenal's 3-1 win over Burnley saw him earn an 8.9 match rating - the joint-highest of the weekend.

The Ukrainian was superb throughout with a match-high 116 touches, 14 duels won and five tackles won.

He topped off his display with a superb strike with a scissor-kick to score Arsenal's third goal of the game.

DEF: Jefferson Lerma, 8.5 (Crystal Palace)

Colombia's Jefferson Lerma put in an all-round showing against Everton, but was unable to steer his side away from a 3-2 home defeat.

Lerma made five interceptions and won eight duels as well as creating a match-high four chances - one of which was converted in the second half by Odsonne Edouard.

DEF: Konstantinos Tsimikas, 8.4 (Liverpool)

A difficult week in the Europa League for Konstantinos Tsimikas saw him rebound with a better performance in Liverpool's comfortable 3-0 win against Brentford.

The Greece international emerged with a pair of assists, first his good work keeping the ball in play for Mohamed Salah's second goal before teeing up Diogo Jota for his strike.

MID: John McGinn, 8.3 (Aston Villa)

John McGinn's good form continued with an assured display as Aston Villa defeated Fulham 3-1.

McGinn notched his third goal of the season in the encounter while also recording seven dribbles and one chance created.

MID: James Ward-Prowse, 8.9 (West Ham)

West Ham's addition of James Ward-Prowse keeps on rewarding them with the 29-year-old continuing to show his qualities.

Ward-Prowse was excellent in the Hammers' 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest with his deliveries contributing to two of his side's goals. But aside from set pieces, he also demonstrated his good work-rate in midfield.

MID: Eberechi Eze, 8.2 (Crystal Palace)

Like his Palace teammate in Lerma, Eberechi Eze produced a display good enough to end up on the winning side on what was his first Premier League start in over a month.

The talented England midfielder confidently scored an equalising penalty just five minutes into proceedings while completing three dribbles and creating two chances.

MID: Leandro Trossard, 8.5 (Arsenal)

Leandro Trossard stepped up to the mark for Arsenal in their win over Burnley, opening the scoring with a brave header before crashing arm-first into the post.

The Belgian excellent corner was headed in by William Saliba in a very silky display which also saw him create two chances for his teammates.

FWD: Darwin Nunez, 8.3 (Liverpool)

He brought the chaos to the pitch once again. Darwin Nunez was a menace for Liverpool against Brentford and on another day could have left with much more than just an assist.

He fed in Salah for the Reds' opener but that came after he had two goals ruled out for offside. A good performance from the Uruguayan, who proved to be tough to handle for the visitors.

FWD: Erling Haaland, 8.6 (Manchester City)

Erling Haaland played a big part in a frantic 4-4 draw between Chelsea and Manchester City that will go down as one of the games of the season.

Haaland put City ahead via the penalty spot before providing the pass for Rodri's late second-half strike, taking his contributions in the division to 13 goals and three assists.

FWD: Dominic Solanke, 8.6 (Bournemouth)

Dominic Solanke was pivotal for Bournemouth in their important victory over Newcastle as the scorer of both their goals.

He converted two of his four efforts at goal coolly but also created three chances in what will be a confidence-boosting performance for the Cherries.
