It is reportedly a busy day for AZ in the transfer market. Fabrizio Romano reports not only the arrival of Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott but also the departure of defender Yukinari Sugawara.
The Japanese defender is on his way to Southampton, who will pay €7 million (£5.8m) for the right-back's services, according to Romano.
The 13-time international has played for the Alkmaarders since 2019, featuring in 165 official matches for the club, scoring 11 times.
Sugawara will sign a four-year deal at the Premier League club.
