Thiago Motta confirmed as new Juventus head coach
The Bianconeri took to social media to confirm the arrival of their new boss, who will replace Massimiliano Allegri.
An agreement is understood to have been in place for several days, with the official announcement now confirming the rumours.
For Motta, taking up the top job at Juventus is recognition of a wonderful season with Bologna - where he achieved Champions League qualification.
In a statement released by Juve, Motta is quoted as saying: "I am really happy to start a new experience at the helm of a great club like Juventus.
"I thank the ownership and the management to whom I assure all my ambition to keep the Bianconeri colours high and make the fans happy."
The former midfield general, who most notably played for PSG, Inter and Barcelona, was the priority of Juventus chief Cristiano Giuntoli.
Motta will be tasked with guiding the Serie A title back to Turin for the first time since 2020.
Champions League qualification and a Coppa Italia last season were not enough to keep Allegri, who fell out with the club's hierarchy, at Juventus.
