20:08 GMT - Newcastle boss Eddie Howe jumped to the defence of his players despite their torrid run of form continuing against Man City.
"We just have to continue in the same form as today really," Howe told TNT Sports.
"There's not a lot wrong with our performances. You can see today we are a tip team.
"The group is in a good place, I don't see any negativity. I see hurt because we aren't winning and that's what we're here to do. We had a good win in the FA Cup last week and that boosted us for today."
19:58 GMT - Kevin De Bruyne was rather happy with his contribution in City's 3-2 win this evening.
The Belgian told TNT Sports after the match: "I missed this. I had a big injury and I needed the time. I enjoyed myself.
"I think it was more willpower than anything else. It was crazy. I know I'm not able to do that for 90 minutes at the moment, I can put in a shift for 30 minutes at the moment. I feel it in my lungs, especially with the cold."

09:36 GMT - Everton manager Sean Dyche said it is "peculiar" that his club have reached the halfway point in the season without being awarded a penalty in the Premier League.
"If you get to this stage of a season and you've not had a penalty, that's peculiar," Dyche told reporters ahead of Everton's game against Aston Villa on Sunday.
"It is quite alarming when you see how many penalties are given for tiny touches which we can't work out sometimes. Some people see it as the 'modern game', but I find it alarming how many penalties are given for almost nothing."

22:33 GMT - An emotional Vincent Kompany wasn't happy with the decision that cost his Burnley side a big win tonight.
He told TNT Sports: "The referee has got to get it right. Any ex-pro will understand what the striker is doing in this case, clearing the room for the other striker.
"I expect the referee to see it. None of the Luton players have celebrated. The first look of the striker is towards (James) Trafford and then towards the referee to see if he got away with it."
22:25 GMT - Luton manager Rob Edwards spoke to TNT Sports about the controversial late VAR call and his side's resilience: "I think Elijah Adebayo gets shoved into James Trafford, it is a goal - it is one of those.
"In the end emotions are high and it is difficult to speak about it and maybe I can be a bit fair.
"That is a big moment in the game and we deserved that. I do feel for Vinny (Vincent Kompany) and if it is a foul I will be honest.
"It is something we did deserve in the end."
