22:41 GMT - Wigan boss Shaun Maloney believes his players will have benefitted from the experience of playing Man Utd in tonight's tie.
Speaking to ITV, he said: "I’m proud of my players. It was a difficult match. When you play an opponent that has that much talent in the final third, it’s very hard to press.
"There were moments early (on), and in these games you have to take those chances - but in fairness Manchester United had a lot of chances as well. A difficult match but a brilliant experience for our players."
22:33 GMT - A defiant Erik ten Hag has told ITV that Man Utd will only get stronger after their win over Wigan.

21:30 GMT - Speaking after Liverpool's win over Arsenal, manager Jurgen Klopp hailed his side's fighting spirit.
"In the end we came through. I'm really happy we could win this game. Arsenal could have won it without a doubt. We finished it off and it spoke for the character of the boys," Klopp said.
"I'm super proud. It was a super difficult draw. Maybe the most difficult we could have got."
20:26 GMT - Speaking after Man City's win over Huddersfield, Pep Guardiola praised returning star Kevin De Bruyne.
"He played really good minutes," he said. "We thought it was better to play the second half than from the beginning when the game was tighter.
"It was really good and now, as I said before, he needs to accumulate training sessions and more training sessions, more than games. Still he is not ready for 90 minutes."
