France head coach Didier Deschamps has extended his contract until June 2026, the French football federation (FFF) said in a statement on Saturday.
"The French Football Federation and Noel Le Graet, its president, are pleased to announce the extension of Didier Deschamps' contract as head of the French national team until July 2026," the statement read.
Deschamps guided France to success at the 2018 World Cup and reached the final again in 2022 where they were beaten on penalties by Argentina.
He also took France to the final of Euro 2016 where they were beaten 1-0 by Portugal.
The Frenchman became manager of the national team in 2012, having represented them 103 times as a player.
