Jared Gordon insists he was "robbed" of a win after losing to Paddy Pimblett via a unanimous decision at UFC 282.

Pimblett secured his fourth successive UFC victory, although the fight came with some accompanying controversy with fans believing Gordon should have claimed a win on points instead.

The American had landed more punches than 'The Baddy' in the three rounds at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and took down his British opposition three times.

But the judges felt Pimblett did enough to earn victory and after such was confirmed, Gordon was not afraid to hide his displeasure with the decision after the bout.

"I was robbed everyone knows it," the 34-year-old posted on Twitter. "I can cry about it but I been back from worst (sic) and gods plan is the best plan so I know there’s something big to come from it."

Pimblett was later quizzed on Gordon's comments but laughed off suggestions he was undeserving of the win.

"Control time means nothing, damage does," he said at the post-fight press conference. "Look at my face and then look at Jared's, I don't care what anyone says. When you look back at the history books, I've got a green marker next to my name so everyone else can suck my a***hole."

"I spoke to him in the back, he said to me, 'I thought I won'. I told him he was a tough son of a b**** because he took some big shots and kept walking forward.

"Everyone always thinks they've won after a loss, I've lost two five-round fights and I thought I won both. It's that simple, opinions are like a***holes, everyone's got one but the fact is that I won by unanimous decision."
