Premier League Team of the Week: Haaland and Trossard star
Neto (33) - Bournemouth
For the second week running, Neto makes the team of the week following a heroic display for Bournemouth. The former Barcelona goalkeeper made four crucial saves as the Cherries kept Brentford at bay, drawing 0-0 at the Vitality Stadium. They are yet to lose a game with the Brazilian in goal.
Ben White (24) - Arsenal
Another week has gone by where Ben White has excelled at right back, this time keeping Heung-min Son quiet in the north London derby. Despite being left out of the latest England squad, White has been part of a solid Arsenal back four, and put in another good display in their 3-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur. The former Brighton defender had the most touches, registered two key passes and got an assist for Thomas Partey's opener.
Marcos Senesi (25) - Bournemouth
A man of the match display in Bournemouth's 0-0 draw against Brentford sees the Argentine included in the Flashscore Team of the Week, with Senesi managing to keep Ivan Toney quiet as the Cherries kept a third clean sheet of the season. The defender performed well in front of Neto, making three interceptions and three clearances.
Sven Botman (22) - Newcastle United
Botman makes up the rest of the defence, with the Dutchman playing an integral part in Newcastle's 4-1 win against Fulham. Alongside an assist, he completed 100% of his arial duels, all of his tackles and made five recoveries as Eddie Howe's side dominated the game.
Miguel Almiron (28) - Newcastle United
The Paraguyan scored twice for Newcastle, including a goal of the season contender midway through the first half. A marginal offside prevented him from scoring a hat-trick, but Almiron was still a standout performer alongside Botman in the Magpies' 4-1 victory.
Granit Xhaka (30) - Arsenal
For a long time, Xhaka divided opinion among Arsenal fans and there have been numerous occasions where it looked like his time at the club was over. However, the Swiss international appears to have put those concerns behind him, putting in his first ever man of the match display for the Gunners in their 3-1 win against Spurs. Xhaka scored the third goal and picked up the man of the match award after the game, much to the delight of the Arsenal supporters.
James Maddison (25) - Leicester City
Maddison starred in Leicester City's first win of the season, scoring a brace as the Foxes beat Nottingham Forest 4-0. The Englishman was integral to the win, also providing an assist in the second half as he lead his side off of the bottom of the league. A man of the match showing in the east Midlands derby has put him firmly on the radar for a spot in England's World Cup squad.
Leandro Trossard (27) - Brighton
A 3-3 draw at Anfield was an impressive result for Brighton, but even more so was the hat-trick scored by Trossard. The winger netted two in quick succession during the first half, and went on to score a late equaliser and complete his treble just before the end of the game, ensuring that new Seagulls coach Roberto De Zerbi got off to a promising start as Brighton manager.
Kevin De Bruyne (31) - Manchester City
The Belgian provided two assists in the Manchester derby, taking his total to eight in the Premier League this season, already equalling his tally from the previous campaign. De Bruyne was instrumental throughout the game, not just with his playmaking but also by winning back possession on four different occasions.
Phil Foden (22) - Manchester City
Foden is the second City player to make the selection, netting his first career hat-trick on Sunday against Manchester United. The Englishman tormented the opposition defenders all game, and became just the fourth City player to score a hat-trick in the Manchester Derby.
Erling Haaland (22) - Manchester City
To the surprise of no one, Haaland completes a trio of City players in the Flashscore Team of the Week thanks to his hat-trick in the Manchester derby. The Norwegian netted three times against United, while also providing two assists, taking him to 17 goal contributions in eight Premier League matches, averaging 1.75 goals per game, one of the best strike rates the division has ever seen from a player of his age.
