Cristiano Ronaldo was on the bench for the Portugal national team for their 6-1 win against Switzerland, something that hadn't happened in a major competition since 2008.

The Portuguese captain was introduced in the 74th minute - in place of Joao Felix - and he even scored but from an offside position.

Ronaldo discussed his future after the match when speaking to members of the press in the mixed zone.

The forward was not one of those chosen to speak to the media but he passed in the same area as all the other players and was asked if there was any truth to the rumours - reported by Spanish media outlet Marca - that he was going to sign for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

"No, it's not true", he simply assured without stopping in that area.

"Better to Pelé. Our King has to get better. That's all we wish," Cristiano Ronaldo said.
