Luis Diaz flies back to Liverpool amid injury setback
Liverpool star Luis Diaz has flown back to Merseyside after suffering a setback in his injury recovery. The Reds are currently posted up in Dubai.
The Colombian picked up a knee injury in October and was on course to return for Liverpool during the World Cup break.
Liverpool have issued a statement by manager Jurgen Klopp, it reads: “It’s all good (fitness-wise) with the boys who are here (in Dubai).
“What’s not good is we have to see with Lucho (Diaz). He felt something and we need to have further assessment there, but apart from that they all look really good.”
The Reds are currently at a training camp in Dubai, where they will soon play friendlies against Lyon and Milan.
