Pimblett won by unanimous decision at UFC 282 against Gordon, with some supporters questioning the outcome of the fight.
The win took the British fighter to four consecutive UFC victories since his debut bout against Luigi Vendramini.
Green, who competes in the lightweight division, was not impressed with his latest showing against Gordon.
"I actually think he’s an amateur fighter, he’s not even a professional, he’s an amateur. He doesn't belong there," Green told Eurosport.
When asked if he would fight Pimblett himself, Green admitted he would but it would not be for his own benefit.
"Of course, I would take it. I would take the easy money. At the same time, it wouldn’t do anything for my brand after I did it.
"It would actually be disrespectful if they put him in there with me. I’d have to get rid of him really fast because it would be disrespectful if we are in the same cage."
Green's next fight is on Saturday, December 17th against Drew Dober.
