A reduced schedule took place in the Premier League with a handful of teams still in FA Cup action, but that did not stop the goals flooding in from another action-packed weekend. It's time for Flashscore's Team of the Week!

GK - Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa)

The goals flew across the games this weekend, but Emiliano Martinez did well to backstop a clean sheet as Aston Villa cruised to a 3-0 victory at home to Bournemouth.

The Argentine World Cup winner was largely untroubled throughout but remained alert, making a handy save to deny Philip Billing from a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area.

DEF - Ben White (Arsenal)

Continuing his superb season at right-back, Ben White shone during Arsenal's 4-1 dismantling of Crystal Palace, which sent them eight points clear at the top of the table.

White was a constant menace down the right-hand flank and had a big part to play in the Gunners' first two goals, assisting the second with a delicate ball in for Bukayo Saka.

DEF - Harry Souttar (Leicester)

Towering central defender Harry Souttar has been a smart addition for Leicester and he fared well as the Foxes earned a point with a 1-1 draw at Brentford.

The Australia international dominated proceedings in the air winning all six of his aerial duels as well as making eight clearances and three interceptions.

DEF - Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa)

The second Villa player to make the side, it was a commanding performance from Tyrone Mings despite missing out on the latest England squad.

While claiming an assist for Emiliano Buendia's goal after flicking on a corner, Mings was sound defensively with his best action coming on Dominic Solanke to deny the visitors a potential route back into the game.

MID - Theo Walcott (Southampton)

A hectic game at St. Mary's saw Southampton peg back Tottenham to earn what could be a crucial 3-3 draw and Theo Walcott was key towards earning his side a point.

The former Arsenal man was a livewire for the Saints, setting up Che Adams' goal early in the second half before later netting himself to end a drought lasting almost two years.

MID - James Ward-Prowse (Southampton)

James Ward-Prowse was another Southampton player to enjoy a good afternoon against Spurs with the Saints captain also having a big influence on the game.

While playing a role in Walcott's tally, Ward-Prowse's biggest moment came in second-half stoppage time when he coolly netted into the top corner from the penalty spot.

MID - Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa)

Villa continue to show their dominance in the side with Douglas Luiz, who is more than deserving of his place.

The combative Brazilian produced an all-action midfield display against Bournemouth, which started in fine fashion as he tapped in the game's opening goal.

Luiz registered 73 touches en route towards recording three key passes, while he also won nine of his 13 duels on the ground.

MID - Abdoulaye Doucoure (Everton)

Midfield scoring was a theme over the weekend and Abdoulaye Doucoure did just that for Everton as they earned a late 2-2 draw at Chelsea.

He got the first equaliser when his flicked header narrowly crossed the goal line before his deft first-time pass set up Ellis Simms to level the game again.

MID - Jacob Ramsey (Aston Villa)

The final Villa player to make the team is Jacob Ramsey after he also enjoyed a fine all-round display.

The 21-year-old was always a threat for Bournemouth and was eventually rewarded for his work down the left with a goal in the second half.

FWD - Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Bukayo Saka was Arsenal's main man again as he became the first player in the Premier League to hit double figures for goals and assists.

Palace had no answer for the talented winger, who scored twice and set up Gabriel Martinelli for the game's opening goal.

FWD - Alexander Isak (Newcastle)

It has not been the easiest of first seasons at Newcastle for Alexander Isak, but he looked at his very best as his double at Nottingham Forest earned the visitors an important 2-1 victory in their chase to reach the Champions League.

The Sweden international's first goal was a brilliant improvised volley to bring the Magpies level before he put away a penalty deep into second-half stoppage time to complete his side's turnaround.
