Eric Dier (28) - Tottenham

Centre-back Dier was rock solid for Spurs at Brighton and was a key figure towards nullifying the attack of their south coast opponents.

He marshalled the defence well to help his side return to winning ways after a tough previous two games.

Joao Cancelo (28) - Manchester City

Cancelo was his instrumental self as City powered to a 4-0 win over Southampton, tallying a goal and assist in the encounter.

His strike was typical of his talents, capping off a run from the halfway line with a clinical finish after faking away from the defending James Ward-Prowse.

Another Arsenal man makes it into the team and there is little doubt about Martinelli's place after a dominant display against Liverpool's right-hand side.
