Price advances while Rock drops out of PDC World Championships
World number one Gerwyn Price cruised through to the quarter-finals with a comfortable 4-1 win over Portuguese darts player Jose de Sousa.
Price hit eight 180s on his way to victory, setting up a tie in the last eight against either Gabriel Clemens or Alan Soutar.
Young talent Josh Rock had took this years' PDC World Championships by storm and impressed in the early rounds of the tournament.
His success unravelled in the round of 16, though, losing 4-3 to world number seven Jonny Clayton.
Rob Cross also booked his place in the quarter-finals after defeating Mervyn King 4-1.
This sets up a tie with Chris Dobey - who beat Gary Anderson earlier in the week.
