Northampton's Ludlam and Sleightholme out of Champions Cup semi
Northampton suffered a double blow ahead of their European Champions Cup semi-final against Leinster after Ollie Sleightholme and Lewis Ludlam were ruled out of Saturday's match.
Dynamic wing Sleightholme is still sidelined after suffering a concussion while club captain Ludlam is struggling with a shoulder problem.
English Premiership leaders Northampton had hoped the pair would be fit to take the field at Dublin's Croke Park for a daunting assignment against Irish province Leinster, the four-time European champions.
George Hendy took Sleightholme's place on the wing in the team announced Friday, with Sam Graham coming in for Ludlam in the back row.
Northampton have won just one of their past 10 meetings with Leinster.
