Scotland's Kinghorn maintains Lions 'dream' despite Toulouse clash
Kinghorn, 27, has put himself in contention for the tour of Australia starting in June with impressive performances for Toulouse, winning the Champions Cup and Top 14 last season.
The Lions' two first games clash with the French league's semi-finals and final.
"We've had no conversations yet about the Lions, it's a long way away," Kinghorn told reporters. "It's a dream for any rugby player growing up is to play for the Lions.
"It's a goal that I have in the back of my mind. There's a lot of rugby to come first," he added.
Kinghorn's club schedule also means he will miss Scotland's opening November Test against Fiji as it falls outside the Test window.
They then face Rugby World Cup winners South Africa, Portugal and Australia on consecutive weekends next month.
"The Fiji game is a no," the former Edinburgh full-back added.
"It's outside the Test window it will just be the boys in Scotland.
"Then South Africa, Portugal and Australia that's in the Test window so it's all good," he added.
