Liam Smith floors Chris Eubank Jr in round four to claim win
The Liverpool native held back a little in the first few rounds, which allowed his opponent to tire out.
By the end of the second, despite arguably dominating, Eubank Jr was noticeably fatigued as he slumped to his stool.
The Sussex-born son of a legend hit back in round three and landed several big hits on Smith.
Smith then fought back in the fourth with a flurry of blows, a move that proved too much for Eubank Jr as he was unable to recover and the referee waved the fight off.
The boxers showed a lot of respect for each other in the ring and shared an embrace after the bell.
Speaking post-fight, Smith left the door open for a rematch. "There's not many fighters who can milk a crowd like I can," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"That was up there with the best nights in my career. I'll do the rematch on my terms."
