Spurs confirm signing of Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma, subject to international clearance.
The 25-year-old was heavily linked with a move to follow Premier League club Everton, but has instead opted for the north London outfit.
Danjuma joins Spurs on loan until the end of the current season, when a decision will be made if the transfer is to become permanent.
The Dutch international, who was born in Nigeria, joined Villarreal in 2021 - swapping the seaside town of Bournemouth for the sunny climes of Spain.
Danjuma scored 17 times for the Cherries in 52 matches before making a £22m move to join the Yellow Submarine.
Spurs' new winger started his professional career in the Netherlands with PSV and NEC, but spent a season with Brugge in Belgium before signing for Bournemouth in 2019.
