16:56 BST - Tenth seed Grigor Dimitrov had no issues securing his place in the fourth round, breezing past French veteran Gael Monfils 6-3, 6-4, 6-3.

16:20 BST - Paula Badosa has emerged victorious over Daria Kasatkina, winning a fiercely competitive battle 7-6(6), 4-6, 6-4 in almost three hours.

Hampered massively by persistent back injuries, reaching the second week will be a huge confidence-booster for the Spaniard.

14:54 BST - We have our first winner of the day and Italy's Jasmine Paolini is continuing to sparkle this year, claiming a strong 7-6(4), 6-1 win over Bianca Andreescu to reach the fourth round.

Queen's champion Tommy Paul is also through, making light work of Alexander Bublik with a 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 win.

13:39 BST - Centre Court is ready for its first match of the day with Carlos Alcaraz continuing his title defence against American Frances Tiafoe.

13:05 BST - We're finally ready to see some tennis today as Paolini and Andreescu are out under the cover of Court One. Play is coming up shortly.

12:25 BST - There won't be any play on the outside courts until 13:00 BST.

The action will definitely get underway from then, though, with the roof on Court One to shelter Jasmine Paolini's match against Bianca Andreescu.

11:40 BST - Rain is still causing havoc at Wimbledon this morning, pushing back any play on the outside courts until at least 12:00 BST, but that could be extended further.

Carlos Alcaraz is set to take on Frances Tiafoe on Centre Court at 13:30 BST.

08:30 BST - Good morning and welcome back to our Wimbledon coverage on wet and drizzly day five at SW19!

We have a top-looking schedule in store, with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner the highlights in the men's draw.

On the women's side, Emma Raducanu faces Maria Sakkari of Greece and second seed Coco Gauff is up against British wildcard Sonny Kartal.

Check out the men's schedule here.
