Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool are in the pot for Monday's Champions League draw, with Manchester United set for a dreaded Europa League play-off. But who could they all face?

The draws for the last 16 of the Champions League, as well as the play-off round of the Europa League and Europa Conference League, will take place from 11am (GMT) on Monday, November 7th.

In the Champions League, group winners are seeded and will be drawn against teams who finished second.

The Europa League draw - taking place afterwards at 12pm (GMT) - will see clubs that came third in the group stage of the Champions League drawn against teams who finished as runners-up in the Europa League groups.

An hour later, the Europa Conference League playoff draw will take place, but West Ham will not be involved as they received a bye to the last 16 having topped their group.

Across all ties, teams cannot be drawn against opposition they faced in the group stages or against those in their own country, which means there will be no all-English fixtures in this round.

Champions League

Seeded teams: Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Napoli, FC Porto, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Benfica

Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham will be top seeds in the draw alongside defending champions Real Madrid - the last Spanish team left in the competition - and Bayern Munich, the German champions for the past 10 years.

They will be joined by Portugal's Benfica - who are yet to lose a game this season - and Porto, who beat Atletico on the last day to claim top spot. Despite Napoli losing their last group match away to Liverpool, the Italians remain one of the favourites to win the tournament for the first time in their history. They are unbeaten in Serie A this season, six points clear at the top.

Unseeded teams: Liverpool, Club Brugge, Inter Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt, AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, PSG

Liverpool finished second in their group despite having the third-highest points total across all groups. The Reds will be thankful they can’t be drawn against fellow unseeded side PSG, as they will certainly be the team to avoid in the last 16.

The leaders of Ligue 1, featuring a front three of Mbappe, Messi, Neymar, were unfortunate to finish behind Benfica in Group H but did so on the narrowest of margins in Champions League history. Only away goals could separate the teams as their head-to-head record, points, goals scored and goals conceded were identical.

AC Milan, Inter Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt and Leipzig all finished second in their respective groups, but seeded teams should feel confident of navigating past them given they all lost twice in the group stages. Borussia Dortmund, who fell off the pace set by Manchester City, join them in the bowl for the last 16, along with Club Brugge, who advance to the knockout stage for the first time in their history.

Match dates: First leg: February 14th-15th and 21st-22nd, Second leg: March 7th-8th and 14th-15th 2023

Europa League

By finishing behind Real Sociedad in Group E, Manchester United could face a potentially tricky playoff tie when the draw is made on Monday.

The Red Devils could face a blockbuster two-legged match against Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax or Sevilla, or alternatively potentially easier fixtures against Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting Lisbon, RB Salzburg or Shakhtar Donetsk for a place in the last 16 of the Europa League.

It could be an emotional reunion for Ronaldo if Manchester United are drawn against his boyhood team Sporting, or Juventus, the club he left before signing for United.

Europa League group runners-up: Manchester United, PSV, Rennes, Roma, Union Berlin, FC Midtjylland, Nantes, Monaco

Champions League third-placed teams: Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, Sporting Lisbon, RB Salzburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sevilla, Juventus

Match dates: February 16th and 23rd 2023.
